Karaoke Alternative

One group tried a Karaoke night. It didn't work well. Most people didn't want to get up in front of their peers and risk being laughed at. The next year they had people on stage behind a green screen. Their heads could be seen above the screen, but their bodies were cartoon characters dancing to the music. The people would then lip sync to the words to the song. It was hilarious. I'm not sure the company that provides the service, but there is a low cost alternative somewhere near Denver. If anyone knows who it is please post it on the blog.

Baseball Trading Cards of Meeting Attendees

The event planner created a card that resembled baseball trading cards with each employees photo on the front and information about them on the back of the card for over 1,000 employees. People were encouraged to collect as many cards as they could with signatures of the person whose card it was. The most cards collected and signed received a big prize at the event. It helped people get to know each other better and was lots of fun.
